The Countdown is ON!!!

Here is a picture of me from about a week ago...he has definitely dropped a lot since this pic, but it still is a good idea of how big I am!!

We are officially to the baby Tate arrival countdown! He is considered full-term and could come at any moment! The absolute last day he will be here is July 20th (they scheduled and induction for that day) but we are hopeful that we won't have to wait that long!! Our bags are packed and the carset is in the car...so we are ready whenever he is!! We are so anxious and excited to meet this amazing little guy that has been growing in my belly for 9 months! I started having semi-regular contractions on Tuesday and I have started dilating so hopefully that means not much longer :-) Please keep us in your thoughs for a safe and speedy :) delivery! The next post will hopefully be with pictures of the new man in our lives! Love you all!

Baby Tate 33 Weeks

Baby Tate 28 Weeks
So much has happened since I last updated this...we have had two amazing showers and most importantly we are almost to the end!! I have hit the uncomfortable phase and I am SO looking forward to having this little guy with us on the outside! We had an ultrasound today and everything looks great. He is in the 55 th percentile, so right about average (hooray for no 10 pounders!) He weighs about 5 pounds and should gain about 2.5 pounds before he makes his exit! We are REALLY hoping for 7/8/09, and things are starting to look our way. There is a lunar eclipes on the 7th and there is also a full moon! I have always been pretty aligned with the lunar patterns so we are crossing our fingers that it is a go! Although whenever the little guy decides to come we will be happy. Our OB will be out of town the 13th-17th so we are really hoping for the week before! Here are some pictures from our last two ultrasounds, the showers, and Tate's room :-) Enjoy!

Rest in Peace our Sweet Little Jazzy Dog...

Well today was a horrible day. Our sweet little Jazzy boy had to leave this earth. He was only 4, way too young fo . He started acting different on Friday and by last night his legs were completely paralyzed and he couldn't move or perform and basic bodily functions. Billy took him to the vet today and they said that he had a neurologic disorder and there was no hope that he would get better. He probably had it his whole life and something triggered it and it got worse from there, the poor guy even had a seizure at the vet. We are beyond heartbroken and miss him so terribly. He was such a funny little dog with so many crazy little quirks that made him who he was. He made every day so much fun, always so happy to see you and to love you. His whole existence was based on making his sister notice him and play with him, he would do anything for her. She was trying to console him this morning by laying on him, luckily Billy got a picture which we will cherish always. I am still in shock that he won't be around anymore, he made our world so much brighter. Every time we came home he was so excited to see us and would always do his little "bone dance" for us, making sure we saw his bone...shaking his bottom all around. He gave the best puppy kisses and always made you feel so loved. He slept with us every night, the closer to us the better for him. He would even share our pillow with us if we were lucky. I will never forget his sweet little smile and how he would follow you wherever you went, even if it was into the bathroom...so sleep now my sweet little baby black dog, we love you so much and we will never forget you or stop missing you and wishing you were here with us.
